In 2024, 26.7 thousand enterprises with foreign capital conducted economic activity in Poland and the value of their foreign capital amounted to 280.8 billion PLN. 52.1% enterprises with foreign capital obtained revenues from the sale of products, goods and materials for export.
The number of enterprises with foreign capital increased by 7.1% in 2024 (26.7 thousand comparing to 25.0 thousand at the end of 2023). Enterprises with foreign capital accounted for 1.1% of all non-financial enterprises (2.4 million). However, entities with foreign capital employing 10 and more persons represented 14.6% of this population, and enterprises with 250 and more persons employed accounted for 45.1%.
