Survey 1.45.19, Balances of Selected Agricultural Products, is an important part of the agricultural statistics system. The first data on basic products (potatoes, meat – selected species, eggs, butter, milk, basic cereals) were collected and published in the 1950s. Since then, this scope has been significantly expanded to approximately fifty products. The survey provides information on the quantities produced and placed on the market of the most important agricultural products of plant and animal origin, including processed agricultural products, i.e. sugar from sugar beet, potato starch, vegetable oils, oilcakes and dried fruit. It is a regular survey conducted by the Statistics Poland on the basis of the Statistical Survey Program of Official Statistics (PBSSP), and the organization and implementation of the survey are the responsibility of the Agriculture and Environment Department.
