Distribution of wages and salaries in the national economy in August 2025
In August 2025, the median monthly gross wage and salary increased in nominal terms by 0.5% compared with July 2025, and by 8.7% compared with the corresponding month of the previous year. During the same period, the average monthly gross wage and salary decreased in nominal terms by 0.4% compared with July 2025, and increased in nominal terms by 8.0% compared with August 2024.

Registrations and bankruptcies of enterprises in the fourth quarter of 2025
In the fourth quarter of 2025, there were 83 673 registrations of enterprises recorded i.e. 2,0% registrations more than in the corresponding period of previous year and 102 enterprises declared bankruptcy i.e. 7 bankruptcies more than in the fourth quarter of 2024.

Foreign trade turnover of goods in total and by countries in January–December 2025
Foreign trade turnover in January–December 2025 in exports at current prices amounted to PLN 1 553.5 bn, while in imports - PLN 1 579.7 bn. The negative balance reached the level of PLN 26.3 bn. In comparison to the corresponding period of last year exports increased by 2.0%, and imports by 3.9%.

In February 2026, there was an improvement in consumer sentiment moods regarding the current situation (compared to the previous month) while sentiment moods regarding the future situation deteriorated. The current consumer confidence indicator, synthetically describing the current trends in individual consumption, was minus 9.1 which was by 0.5 p.p. higher in relation to last month.
