First aid and emergency medical services in 2024
In 2024 emergency rescue teams provided health care benefits in the occurrence place to nearly 3.2 million of persons. Almost 4.1 million of persons received health care benefits in hospital emergency wards or admission rooms under the outpatient treatment while over 2.3 million of persons received health care benefits in hospital emergency wards under the inpatient treatment.

Border traffic and expenses made by foreigners in Poland and by Poles abroad in the 4th quarter of 2024
In the 4th quarter of 2024, the border traffic of foreigners remained at the same level as the previous year, while that of Poles increased by 1.3% year-on-year. The values of goods and services purchased by foreigners in Poland and goods and services purchased by Poles abroad during this period were higher than in the 4th quarter of 2023 by 5.5% and 15.0% respectively.

Activity of enterprises having foregin entities in 2023
At the end of 2023, 1 978 enterprises in Poland (an increase by 0.4% as compared to 2022) declared involvement in 4 608 foreign entities (an increase by 2.3% comparing to 2022) in the form of shares, branches or in other forms. Majority of foreign entities were located in Germany, Czechia, The United States and Ukraine.

Statistical Office in Warszawa
In 2023, in Mazowieckie Voivodship, the number of enterprises employing up to 9 persons was by 3.7% higher than a year before. The number of employees in microenterprises also increased (by 0.3%), as well as total revenue and costs by 15.1% and 11.2%, respectively.
