Compared to the previous month, in September 2026, general business climate indicators for most of presented types of activity point at deterioration or stabilisation of the economy. The most significant decline has been noted in accommodation and food service activities section, while slight improvement is observed only in financial and insurance activities section along with information and communication section.

Procurement prices of basic agricultural products increased in August 2026 in comparison with the previous month (by 1.8%), but decreased compared to the corresponding period of 2025 (by 12.3%).

In August 2026 retail sales at constant prices were by 3.8% higher than the year before (against an increase of 3.1% in August 2025).
