In September, non-seasonally adjusted general business climate indicators for most of presented types of activity point at stabilisation or deterioration of the economy. Improvement in this area is noted only by entities operating in transportation and storage section. After seasonal adjustment, however, stabilisation or improvement of the economy is observed. More favourable business tendency is especially noticeable in accommodation and food service activities section.

In August 2025 retail sales at constant prices were by 3.1% higher than the year before (against an increase of 2.6% in August 2024). Compared with July 2025, a decrease by 0.4% in retail sales was recorded. In the period of January-August 2025 sales increased y/y by 3.6% (against an increase by 3.7% in the corresponding period of 2024).
