In the period January– September 2026, 3.1% more dwellings were completed compared to the same period last year. The number of dwellings in which construction began also increased (by 4.5%), as well as the number of dwellings for which permits were granted or which were registered with a construction project (by 12.3%).

In September 2026, the average paid employment in the enterprise sector was 0.1% lower than in August of this year and 0.8% lower than in September 2025.

According to preliminary data construction and assembly production (in constant prices) carried out domestically was in September 2026 lower by 9.0% an annual. Decreases in construction and assembly production occurred in all divisions of construction; the decrease in con-struction of buildings was significantly deeper than in the other divisions. Compared to August 2026 an increase was noted by 3.0%.

The value of gross domestic product generated by the sports sector in Poland in 2022 amo-unted to PLN 66.0 billion, gross output related to sports – PLN 110.5 billion, and gross value added – PLN 50.3 billion. The sports sector employed 316.5 thousand people.

In 2022, tourism direct gross domestic product accounted for 1.8% of Poland’s GDP . Among tourism characteristic activities, accommodation (NACE division 55) made the largest contribution to tourism direct gross value added – 19.5%. Food and beverage service activities (NACE division 56) also accounted for a substantial share – 17.4%.

According to preliminary data, in September 2026 the prices of construction and assembly production increased both compared to September 2025 (by 6.9%), as well as to August 2026 (by 0.7%).

According to preliminary data, the prices of sold production of industry in September 2026 increased both compared to September 2025 – by 6.1%, to the previous month – by 0.7%.

In September 2026, sold production of industry was by 4.6% higher than in September 2025 (when an increase was recorded by 7.6%), whereas in comparison with August 2026, it increased by 17.0%. In the period January-September of 2026, sold production of industry was by 3.6% higher than in the corresponding period of 2025 (which saw an increase by 2.7%).
