In August 2024, the average paid employment in the enterprise sector compared with August 2023 was lower by 0.5% and amounted to 6 470.0 thousand full-time equivalent employees.

According to preliminary data, the prices of sold production of industry in August 2024 decreased compared to July 2024 - by 0.1%, as well as to the corresponding month of the previous year - by 5.1%.

In August 2024, sold production of industry was by 1.5% lower than in August 2023, when a decrease was recorded by 2.2% as compared to the corresponding period of the previous year, whereas in comparison with July 2024, it decreased by 5.2%.

According to preliminary data, in August 2024 the prices of construction and assembly production in comparison with the corresponding month of the previous year increased by 5.3%, as well as in comparison with July 2024 by 0.3%.
