According to the preliminary data, sold production of industry in constant prices (in enterprises employing more than 9 persons), in March of 2014, was by 5.4% higher than in the previous year and by 9.4% higher than in February of 2014. After eliminating the seasonal factors, sold production of industry reached the level higher by 5.7% than in the corresponding month of the previous year and higher by 0.2% than in February of 2014.

According to preliminary data, the prices of sold production of industry in March 2014 were of 0.2% lower than in the previous month. The highest drop of prices was recorded in mining and quarrying (of 2.2%), of which in mining of metal ores (of 6.3%), but the growth was recorded in mining of coal and lignite (by 0.4%). Prices in manufacturing were also lower of 0.1%, in which in manufacture of coke and refined petroleum products (of 1.4%).
