Foreign trade turnover of goods in total and by countries in January-May 2019

Foreign trade turnover in January – May this year according to exports at current prices amounted to PLN 416.7 bn, while imports amounted to PLN 415.8 bn. The positive balance reached the level of PLN 0.9 bn, while in the same period last year amounted to minus PLN 5.8 bn. In comparison to the corresponding period of the 2018, exports increased by 9.6%, and imports by 7.7%.

Price indices of consumer goods and services in June 2019

Consumer prices in June 2019, as related to the previous month, increased by 0,3% (of which services – by 1,0%, with the prices of goods remaining at the same level). Compared with the corresponding month of the previous year, consumer prices increased by 2,6% (of which services – by 3,9% and goods by 2,2%).

According to preliminary data in June 2019 the prices of sold production of industry were lower in comparison with the previous month by 0.4%. In comparison with the corresponding period of the last year the prices increased by 0.6%.

Index numbers of sold production of industry in June 2019

In June 2019, sold production of industry was by 2.7% lower than in June 2018, which saw 6.7% increase, whereas in comparison with May 2019, it decreased by 5.9%. In the period January-June of 2019, sold production of industry was by 5.1% higher than in the corresponding period of 2018, when an increase of 6.2% was recorded.

Compared to 2017 the highest increase in the number of notarial deeds concerned sales of properties buit-up with residential buildings (by 12.5%), sales of premises (by 9.7%), sales of land properties (by 9.7%) and sales of other properties (by 6.8%).
