The number of permits issued for the construction of dwellings and new residential buildings, the number of dwellings started, dwellings under construction, permits for the construction of new non-residential buildings and other construction facilities are also included.

In 2017 the number of new non-residential buildings completed and their useful floor area was larger than a year before. However the number of non-residential buildings for which permits have been granted or which have been registered with a construction project and their useful floor area decreased.

Foreign trade turnover of goods in total and by countries in January 2018
Foreign trade turnover in January this year according to exports at current prices amounted to PLN 69.4 bn, while imports amounted to PLN 71.4 bn. The negative balance reached the level of PLN 2.0 bn, while the same period last year was positive and amounted to PLN 17.0 bn. In comparison to the corresponding period of the 2017, exports decreased by 0.4%, and imports incteased by 5.3%.

Index numbers of industrial and construction-assembly production in February 2018
In February of 2018, sold production of industry was by 7.4% higher than in February of 2017, whereas an increase of 31.4% was reported in construction-assembly production. In the period January-February of 2018, sold production of industry was by 8.0% higher than in the corresponding period of 2017 which saw a 5.2% increase, whereas construction-assembly production was by 32.3% higher than in the corresponding period of 2017 which saw an 1.6% decrease.
