The Information Standards Repository (RSI) is the website of the Statistics Poland, containing descriptions of official registers and information systems of central and local government administration.

The repository contains over 600 descriptions of registers and systems from nearly 80 offices.

Access to RSI is universal and free of charge https://RSI.stat.gov.pl. You do not need a login or password to view the RSI content.

Viewing RSI is simple. This can be done through several tabs, eg the tabs for registers and systems; offices; data. Additionally, RSI allows you to search for elements of these tabs, eg description of a single register; descriptions of registers and systems of only one office; data with the same name appearing in all RSI descriptions (address, PESEL register number (the Common Electronic System of Population Register), marital status, etc.).

The repository does not contain data collected in registers and systems, it only allows viewing descriptions.

The ongoing update of the repository is possible thanks to the application dedicated to offices.

The information collected in the RSI is used by official statistics when making decisions on the possibility of increasing the use of data from registers and systems. It is conducive to reducing the burden on reporting entities and lowering the costs of statistical surveys. The creation of the Information Standards Repository is part of the global efforts to provide users with all data resources produced by public statistics, which translates into an improvement in the quality and integrity of data.
