Production, turnover, new orders, paid employment, average monthly gross wages and salaries, time worked, price indicators, investment outlays, current assets, sources of property financing, company financial indicators according to the average monthly gross wages and according to the net turnover profitability ratio.

On 31 March 2017, in accordance with the Council Regulation (EC) No. 479/2009 of 25 May 2009 on the application of the Protocol on the excessive deficit procedure annexed to the Treaty establishing European Community with amendments, the President of the CSO provided the general government deficit and debt data (EDP notification) to the European Commission (Eurostat).

Together with “The release on general government deficit and debt in 2016”, the CSO issues hereby updated 2015-2016 (annual and quarterly) GDP estimates.

In March of 2017, sold production of industry was by 11.1% higher than in March of 2016, whereas an increase of 17.2% was reported in construction-assembly production. In the period January-March of 2017, sold production of industry was by 7.3% higher than in the corresponding period of 2016 which saw a 3.0% increase, whereas construction-assembly production was by 3.9% higher than in the corresponding period of 2016 which saw a 13.3% decrease.

In March 2017 the prices of sold production of industry were by 4.7% higher than a year earlier. In comparison to March of the previous year, the prices of construction and assembly production were higher by 0.3%.

In the period of three months of 2017 there were more dwellings completed than the year before. The number of dwellings for which permits have been granted or which have been registered with a construction project and the number of dwellings in which construction has begun also increased.

Data were compiled on the basis of information on value and quantity of procurement by legal persons and independent organizational entities without legal personality (without natural persons). Indices of procurement prices and prices received by farmers on marketplaces were computed on the basis of absolute data expressed with more precision than in the tables.
