Price of one square meter of usable floor space of a residential building in the fourth quarter of 2016 was PLN 4000.

Price index of construction and assembly production in the fourth quarter of 2016 as compared to the third quarter of 2016 was 100.1 (prices increased by 0,1%).

In January of 2017, sold production of industry was by 9.0% higher than in January of 2016 which saw an increase of 1.3%, whereas construction-assembly production was by 2.1% higher than in January of 2016 which saw a decrease of 8.6%.

According to preliminary data, the prices of sold production of industry in January 2017 were by 0.3% higher than in the previous month. The growth of prices was recorded in manufacturing by 0.4%, of which in manufacture of basic metals (by 3.0%).

In January of 2017 there were more dwellings completed than the year before. The number of dwellings for which permits have been granted or which have been registered with a construction project and the number of dwellings in which construction has begun also increased.
