The real growth rate for gross domestic product increased in 2016 by 2.9% in comparison to the previously published increase by 2.7%. The positive impact of net exports on the economic growth was recorded +0.7 percentage points (against +0.3 percentage points); positive impact of domestic demand was reduced by +2.2 percentage points (against +2.4 percentage points).

According to the EDP notification, in 2016 the general government deficit was equal 45 870 mln zl (2,5% of GDP), while the general government debt amounted to 1 006 284 mln zl (54,1% of GDP).

Average price of wood sale in the first three quarters 2017 was PLN 197.06 /m3.

Prices of agricultural products in September 2017

Average procurement price of rye for 11 quarters preceding the quarter preceding the tax year 2018 was PLN 52,49 for 1 dt.

According to preliminary data, the prices of sold production of industry in September 2017 were by 0.4% higher than in the previous month. The growth of prices was recorded in manufacturing by 0.5% of which the biggest in manufacture of coke and refined petroleum products (by 4.7%).

In September of 2017, sold production of industry was by 4.3% higher than in September of 2016, whereas an increase of 15.5% was reported in construction-assembly production.

In the period of nine months of 2017 there were more dwellings completed than the year before. The number of dwellings for which permits have been granted or which have been registered with a construction project and the number of dwellings in which construction has begun also increased.
