Strike


Definition:

Collective cessation of work by employees for at least one hour in order to resolve a dispute concerning working conditions, wages or social benefits as well as employees' trade union rights and freedoms.



Strike is an ultimate remedy and may not be declared without prior exhausting the possibilities of resolving a dispute according to principles specified in the provisions of the Act dated May 23, 1991 on resolution of collective disputes.
