Canteen


Definition:

Catering establishment serving meals (mainly lunches but also breakfasts and dinners) to specific consumer groups.



It may also serve single meals. It is singled out in terms of organisation and premises, it is located on site a plant (company canteen), schools, universities, recreation centres. It provides limited assortment of meals using self-service or waiting service, using in the predominating part the subscription sales and meals serving.
