Young people neither in employment nor in education and training – NEET (LFS indicator)


Definition:

Percentage of the population in a given age group of the unemployed or the economically inactive who do not continue education in the formal education system nor are in training/ education in the non-formal education system (during the four weeks preceding the survey) in the total population at the same age group.



Total indicator is calculated for persons aged 15-34, it can also be presented in other groupings within this age group, e.g. 15-24 years, 20-24 years, 25-29 years.
