Definition:

Particular attempts made by a person in order to find a job, i.e. one of the following actions: placing or answering job advertisements, including the use of Internet applications and websites facilitating job search, studying job advertisements, asking friends, relatives or acquaintances or contacting employers directly, contacting a public employment service or a private employment agency, participating in a test, interview or examination, making preparation to set-up his/her own business.
