Hydrogen from low-emission sources


Definition:

Hydrogen from non-renewable or renewable energy sources with a low carbon footprint for which the amount is indicated below 5.8 kg CO2 eq / kg H2 ( from low-emission production technologies ), e.g. in the process of separation from coke oven gas, electrolysis, biomass, biomethane, by pyrolysis and other alternative technologies for obtaining hydrogen.
