College of Social Work


Definition:

An educational institution training in the profession of a social worker and in the field of organisation of social welfare. The secondary school matriculation certificate is a prerequisite for admission to the college. The training lasts three years and is organised on a daytime or extramural basis. The graduates obtain a professional social worker diploma which entitles them to practise this profession.
