They offer a day, evening or weekend cycle of education. The programme lasts 3 years (6 semesters). The requirement to aplly for admission to these colleges is the Matura (matriculation) examination. Graduates may obtain a Bachelor's title and apply to Master's studies (2nd cycle programmes). Public Colleges of Social Work are established by voivodship self-government entities.
