Their purpose is to partially cover expenditures related to the care and upbringing of a child and to meet his life needs. Benefit is in the amount of PLN 500 per month.
The "Family 500+" Programme came into force on April 1, 2016.

Child-raising benefit, child-raising supplement, lump sum supplement, supplement equal child-raising benefit.
Since July 1, 2019, child-raising benefit is payable for every child up to the age of 18, regardless of the family's income.
