Post-secondary school


Definition:

An educational institution based on the curriculum of post-primary school, enabling persons with general secondary education to obtain a diploma certifying vocational qualifications or qualifications in a given occupation upon passing the vocational examination.



Education lasts up to 2.5 years. Graduates, upon passing the external examination, obtain a diploma certifying vocational qualifications of a technician or skilled worker. Three-year colleges of social work are also included in the post-secondary school statistics.
