Definition:
An educational institution based on the curriculum of upper secondary or post-primary school, enabling persons with general secondary education to obtain a diploma confirming vocational qualifications or qualifications in a given occupation upon passing the vocational examination.
Education lasts up to 2.5 years. Graduates, upon passing the external examination, obtain a diploma certifying vocational qualifications of a technician or skilled worker. Three-year teacher training establishments, namely teacher training colleges and foreign language teacher training colleges, as well as colleges of social work, are also included in the post-secondary school statistics.
