Actual increase


Definition:

The sum of natural increase and net internal and international migration (for permanent and temporary residence).



In the case of the population according to the national definition of residence, only temporary internal migrations are included, in the case of residents, also foreign temporary migration (see also definitions "population / residents", "residents"). In case of gminas, also balance of population movements caused by administrative changes is taken into account, which means that annual increase, i.e. difference expressed in absolute numbers between two population sizes in a given gmina as at the beginning and end of the analyzed period.
