Tangible effects of environmental protection and water management investments


Definition:

Measurable or material results of the implementation of activities and outlays incurred for environmental protection and water management.



They include, among others:

  • number, capacity and types of completed wastewater treatment plants,
  • length of the sewage network;
  • ability of installed equipment in terms of reduction of particulates and gaseous pollutants, waste treatment disposal,
  • area of reclaimed landfills,
  • efficiency of the water intakes,
  • water treatment efficiency,
  • length of the water supply network,
  • length of the regulation and management of rivers and streams,
  • length of the flood embankments.
