Tour operator or agent


Definition:

A person or institution that is not a direct producer of the service purchased, e.g. travel agency, workplace, school, social, trade union or sports organisation, church or religious organisation, etc.



This can include also a hotel with respect to services other than hotel services, e.g. purchase of transport services.
