Pearson's coefficient of skewness

Definition:

The measure of asymmetry, (measure of skewness) serves to study the direction and force of the asymmetry of the feature distribution . Asymmetric characteristics distribution is the opposite of symmetric distribution, where the arithmetic mean, median and dominant values are the same. Positive indications of this measure speak of right-sided asymmetry (positive), negative indications of left-sided (negative) asymmetry. Zero means the symmetry of the distribution of the feature to be examined, ie it indicates the situation where the number of the variants of the examined feature is evenly distributed around the value of the corresponding measure of the central tendency.
