Orchestra ( 1/ symphonic, 2/ chamber)


Definition:

The professional entity that presents classical music, folk, or entertainment, having: 1) Multi-instrumental band (string quintet, woodwind instruments, brass, percussion, harp, piano and sometimes other), consisting of 50-120 people , led by the conductor, 2) a small instrumental ensemble (duo, trio, quartet, quintet, sextet, septet, octet, nonet) playing chamber music designed to perform in small rooms.
