Maximum estimate error

Definition:

Maximum, acceptable difference between the parameter estimation on the basis of the sample and its real value in the population. The interval estimation assumes that it is half the length of the confidence interval. This allows for some issues to derive the formula that determines the necessary sample size based on the given maximum error threshold and the established confidence level.-
