Community self-help centre
Definition:
Support centre for persons with mental disorders, who, due to impairment of certain bodily functions or adaptabilities, require assistance in living in a family and social environment, in particular in order to enhance their resourcefulness and independence, as well as social integration.
A community self-help centre shall provide services under individual or team training of self-care and social capacities, consisting in learning, developing or maintaining skills regarding everyday life and functioning in the society. Community self-help centres, depending on whom they are intended for, are classified into centres for: a) persons chronically mentally ill; b) the mentally disabled; c) persons with other chronic mental disorders.
In PS-03 survey there are included round-the-clock centres only.
