Two or three-wheeled road motor vehicle with an fitted engine of a cylinder capacity not exceeding 50 cm3 or with an electric motor with a power of not more than 4 kW, the maximum design speed of 45 km /h. It includes mopeds registered in vehicle registering bodies (i.e. starosta offices and district offices in Warsaw). In statistics mopeds do not belong to road vehicles registered.

Mopeds are not included in registered motor vehicles statistics.
