Emergency Medical Technician(Paramedic)


Definition:

A person performing the medical profession, holding licence in particular to perform medical rescue activities in case of a direct, sudden threat to life or health.



Medical profession which tasks include: protection of people in place of the incident and taking measures to prevent increasing numbers of casualties and environmental degradation, assessing the health status of people in a state of sudden health threat and performing medical rescue activities, transporting people in a state of the sudden health threat, communicating with person in a state of the sudden healthy threat together with providing him/her mental suppert, organizing and conducting classes on first aid, qualified first aid and medical rescue activities.
