Definition:
An organisational unit of social welfare in the poviat, carrying out social welfare duties (its own duties as well as though delegated by the national administration). The task of poviat centre for family support in towns with the rights of poviat are performed by municipal social assistance centres, which may be referred to as "municipal family support centres".
