Bovine animals


Definition:

Livestock cattle (of species Bos taursus, Bubalus bubalis and Beefalo).



Which include: calves (bulls and heifers less than 1 year old), young cattle, i.e., bulls and heifers aged between 1 and 2 years (exclusive of 2), other cattle over the age of 2 years (completed 24 months), i.e., stud bulls, bullocks, fattening cattle, heifers, milk cows and other cows (i.e., meat cows and mixed breed meat cows whose milk is used to feed calves or as a fodder for other animals).
