Passenger mobility in Poland in 2024
On a typical working day 65.3 million trips in the territory of Poland were noted. Most of them started in Mazowieckie voivodeship (9.8 million), the least – in Opolskie voivodeship (1.7 million).
The data refer to household members being residents of Poland aged at least 6 years. A typical working day is Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday.
Trip-makers, i.e. the ones making at least one trip which started and/or ended in the territory of Poland, constituted the majority (73.6%) among all household members. The second largest group were no-trip makers, i.e. the ones staying in the territory of Poland but not making any trip (24.0%), and almost every second of them did not travel for health reasons (46.1%). The other household members on a typical working day were outside Poland (2.4%).
