In 2024, 545.8 thousand notarial deeds of real estate trading were signed (a year-on-year increase of 6.8%). Compared to the 2023, the number of notarial deeds concerning the sale of plots with a residential building (by 17.0%), the sale of undeveloped plots (by 13.2%), the sale of plots with a building for other purposes (by 11.2%), the sale of other properties (by 10.0%), the sale of premises (by 3.8%), the sale of cooperative ownership right to premises (by 2.9%) and the sale of agricultural real estate (by 0.6%). The largest decrease, however, was recorded in the number of notarial deeds concerning real estate transactions granting perpetual usufruct by the State Treasury or local government units along with the sale of the building (by 15.8%).
