Disabled employed persons in the national economy in June 2023

At the end of June 2023, there were 477.4 thousand disabled employed persons in the national economy, of whom 51.5% were women.
As at 30 June 2023, the number of disabled employed persons in the national economy was 477.4 thousand (an increase of 1.2% relative to January 2023). The largest increase in the number of disabled employed persons by place of residence was in the Świętokrzyskie region (an increase of 2.3%). Only in the Warmińsko-Mazurskie region was the number of disabled employed persons at the same level as in January 2023.
Of the total number of disabled employed persons, nearly 22% worked in the public sector. In terms of place of residence, the largest share of disabled employed persons connected with the public sector was in the Lubelskie region (29.1%) and the smallest in the Wielkopolskie region (17.1%).
