In 2024, 513.4 million prescriptions were issued, of which 97.4% were in electronic form, i.e. 0.8 percentage points more than in 2023.
In 2024, 513.4 million prescriptions were issued (18.3 million more than the year before). 97.4% of them were electronic prescriptions, which means an increase of 0.8 percentage points compared to 96.6% of electronic prescriptions in 2023.
Correction of 09.09.2025
In the news release on page 4 a correction was made regarding the reimbursement percentage in the value of prescription drug sales. Map 3 has been corrected, along with information below and on the side of the map regarding the counties with the lowest and highest reimbursement percentages in the value of prescription drug sales. Data on reimbursement and patient co-payments for medications has been corrected in the tabular annex (sheet: Table 3) and in the data for maps and charts (sheets: Map_2, Map_3).
