Among the non-financial enterprises declaring the start of operations in 2023, 172 595 units remained active by 2024, i.e. 59.2%. The highest survival rate after the first year of activity was recorded for entities in professional, scientific and technical activities section (72.2%).
In non-financial enterprises established in 2023 and active until 2024 there were employed 332 384 persons of which 63.3% worked in enterprises belonged to natural persons and 36.7% to legal persons.
According to the predominant kind of activity, the highest number of persons employed was in enterprises conducting activity in the field of trade; repair of motor vehicles (21.3% of total persons employed in one-year enterprises), construction (15.0%), industry (12.9%) and professional, scientific and technical activities (12.1%).
