In November 2025, the median monthly gross wage and salary increased in nominal terms by 0.2% compared with October 2025, while compared with the corresponding month of the previous year, it increased in nominal terms by 8.6%.

In the first quarter of 2025, there were 89 004 registrations of enterprises recorded i.e. 2,0% registrations more than in the corresponding period of previous year and 108 enterprises declared bankruptcy i.e. 8 bankruptcies more than in the first quarter of 2025.

In 2025, 51.8% of government administration employees (2.6 pp. more than in previous year) and 23.4% of self-government administration employees (0.4 pp. less) were equipped with portable devices enabling mobile access to the Internet for business purposes. 34.4% of employees had access to such devices across the entire public administration (0.3 pp. more than in 2024).

According to preliminary data, in February 2026 services production was higher by 7.0% than a year before (at that time, it was recorded an increase of 3.0%), and in relation to January 2026 increased by 4.5%.

In May 2026, consumer sentiment moods improved, both regarding the current and future situation (compared to the previous month). The current consumer confidence indicator, synthetically describing the current trends in individual consumption, was minus 11.3 which was by 1.9 lower in relation to last month.

In the period January–April 2026, 2.0% less dwellings were completed compared to the same period last year. The number of dwellings in which construction began also decreased (by 1.9%), whereas the number of dwellings for which permits were granted or which have been registered with a construction project increased by 15.8%.

After eliminating the seasonal factors, in April 2026 sold production of industry reached the level higher by 2.5% than in the corresponding month of 2025 and by 2.6% lower than in March 2026.

According to preliminary data, in April 2026 the prices of construction and assembly production increased both compared to April 2025 (by 5.6%), as well as to March 2026 (by 1.2%).

In April 2026, the average paid employment in the enterprise sector remained at a similar level to that of March this year and was 0.9% lower than in April 2025. The average monthly gross wage and salary in the enterprise sector in April 2026 was 1.3% lower than in March of this year and increased by 5.4% in nominal terms compared with April 2025.

Compared to the previous month, in May 2026, general business climate indicators for most of presented types of activity point at stabilisation or improvement of the econo-my. The most significant upturn is noted in accommodation and food service activities section along with transportation and storage section (the assessments in this field are still negative, though). The most significant decline is observed in financial and insurance activities section.

Procurement prices of basic agricultural products increased in April 2026 in comparison with the previous month (by 0.1%), while the prices decreased compared to the corresponding period of 2025 (by 13.1%).

In 2025, there were 3,913 centres of culture, cultural centres and establishments, clubs and community centres. During the year, these entities organised 290.5 thousand events (5.0% more than in 2024), with 37.0 million participants (5.2% more than in 2024).
