On 20 October 2023, we celebrate the seventh European Statistics Day for the eight time. In 2023, the theme of European Statistics Day is "Statistics for better development in a fast-changing world".The European Statistics Day was established on the initiative of the European Statistical Advisory Committee (ESAC) with the support of the European Statistical System (ESS) and the European System of Central Banks (ESCB).

This year's European Statistics Day is celebrated in parallel with the European Year of Skills, which runs from May 9, 2023 to May 8, 2024.
