Economic activity of enterprises with foreign capital in 2023

In 2023, 25.0 thousand enterprises with foreign capital conducted economic activity in Poland and the value of their foreign capital amounted to 262.4 billion PLN. Over half of the foreign capital (50.1%) was located in entities with 250 and more persons employed. The largest number of entities operated in trade; repair of motor vehicles (23.0%) and the largest amount of foreign capital (37.0%) was involved in manufacturing.

As at the last day of June 2024, there were 15 171.9 thousand employed persons in the national economy. The average age and median age of employed persons in the national economy were similar. The average age was 42.8 years and the median age was 42.0 years.
