Procurement prices of basic agricultural products decreased in July 2025 in comparison with the previous month (by 0.3%), while compared to the corresponding period of the last year increased (by 11.9%).

In August, both seasonally and non-seasonally general business climate indicators for most of presented types of activity point at stabilisation or improvement of the economy. Sectors that stand out negatively are transportation and storage section, where both seasonally and non-seasonally data are slightly worse than those presented a month ago as well as accommodation and food service activities section in which non-seasonally data deteriorated as compared to July.

According to preliminary data, in July 2025 the prices of construction and assembly production increased both compared to the previous month (by 0.5%) and to July 2024 (by 3.2%).

In July 2025, sold production of industry was by 2.9% higher than in July 2024 (when an increase was recorded by 5.2%), whereas in comparison with June 2025, it increased slightly – by 0.2%. In the period January-July of 2025, sold production of industry was by 2.2% higher than in the corresponding period of 2024 (which saw an increase by 0.7%).

According to preliminary data construction and assembly production (in constant prices) carried out domestically was in July 2025 higher by 0.6% than in the same period of 2024 (in July 2024 a decrease of 1.3%) and by 0.6% lower compared to June 2025.

According to preliminary data, the prices of sold production of industry in July 2025 decreased both compared to July 2024 – by 1.2%, and to June 2025 — by 0.1%.

In July 2025, the average paid employment in the enterprise sector was 6 431.8 thousand full-time equivalents, 0.9% lower than a year earlier.

In August 2025, consumer sentiment moods improvement, both regarding the current and future situation (compared to the previous month). The current consumer confidence indicator, synthetically describing the current trends in individual consumption, was minus 12.1 which was by 1.9 p.p. higher in relation to last month.
