Kitchen space


Definition:

A place for the preparation of meals irrespective of whether it is also used for eating, sleeping or living.



It includes:

1) kitchen rooms, i.e. premises that fulfil the requirements imposed on rooms: direct daylight and a surface area of at least 4 sq.m,

2) kitchen premises not being rooms, i.e. premises without windows (so-called dark kitchens) or not fulfilling the surface area requirements, i.e. having a surface area of less than 4 sq.m,

3) kitchens constituting a part of a multi-purpose room created as the result of connecting a kitchen room with a living room.
