Health


Definition:

State of good physical, psychological and social well-being, not just a lack of sickness or of being handicapped.



Statisticians use various indicators to evaluate the health of a given population. Positive measures (e.g., average longevity) are used in analysis' however, negative measures (e.g., death rate or sickness index) are used more and more commonly.
