Ship calling at seaports


Definition:

Cargo-carrying and passenger ships as well as seagoing barges (of gross tonnage 100 and more), calling at seaports with of without cargo in both international and domestic traffic, on voyages wholly or partially at sea.Non-transport ships performing transport functions are also included.



Ships arriving at sea ports with cargo shall be understood as carrying cargo to be unloaded in the port at which they call or passengers to a port, for whom the port of destination is the port of call. Ships calling at a port on their ballast voyages, are those either empty or with a cargo not to be unloaded in the port of call, as well as ships with or without passengers having a different port of destination.
