Ferry


Definition:
Ship designed for the carriage of various means of land transport (cars, wagons and other vehicles), goods as well as passengers between the banks of rivers, canals and coasts. In order to load railway wagons and cars, ferry boat has special doors in the bow or stern, with strong and tight leafs.
