Pharmacy


Definition:

Public health care establishment, in which entitled persons provide in particular pharmaceutical services.



Pharmaceutical services, including issuing medicinal and medical products specified in separate provisions of law, preparing prescription drugs, galenic drugs, providing information on medicinal and medical products. In publicly available pharmacies, drugs can be issued based on a prescription of a veterinary doctor.

Pharmacies are divided into:

1) generally available,

2) in-hospital,

3) dispensaries.
