Passenger transport by air


Definition:

Passenger public transport by air for remuneration or for hire.



Passenger is a person who travels by air in an aircraft and is not a crew or cabin crew member acting on that flight. Infants in arms are included. Only persons travelling in scheduled (regular) and non-scheduled (irregular) commercial air services are taken into account. Persons travelling by air within commercial or non-commercial general aviation (e.g. activities of aeroclubs, agro-aviation, private flights) are excluded.
